1. Who We Are

Ritam Foundation is the institutional body of IIFT Bangalore (Indian Institute of Fashion Technology). Our registered corporate address is No. 888, Dr. Modi Hospital Road, Basaveshwara Nagar, Bangalore, Karnataka 560086, India.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data, solely for the purposes described:

  • Contact form submissions: Name, email, phone (optional), organisation (optional), message. Retained for 365 days per DPDP Act 2023.
  • Alumni registrations: Name, batch year, current role, email, LinkedIn URL (optional). Retained until consent is withdrawn.
  • Technical data: IP address (anonymised after 30 days), browser user agent (anonymised after 30 days), referring URL.

3. DPDP Act 2023 Compliance

We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India). You have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, withdraw consent, and request erasure. To exercise these rights, contact foundation@ritamfoundation.org.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use contact form data solely to respond to your inquiry. We use alumni data solely to maintain the Legacy Circle directory. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties except as required by law.

5. Data Retention

Contact submissions are automatically deleted after 365 days. IP addresses are anonymised after 30 days. Alumni profiles are retained until the member withdraws consent or requests deletion.
