Our Commitment

Ritam Foundation is committed to making ritamfoundation.org accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.

What We’ve Done

  • All images have descriptive alt text
  • Skip navigation link is available at the top of every page
  • All interactive elements are keyboard-navigable
  • Focus-visible states use a gold (#D4AF37) outline
  • Colour contrast: gold on charcoal achieves WCAG AAA (8.59:1)
  • Sanskrit text carries lang="sa" attribute for screen readers
  • All animations respect prefers-reduced-motion: reduce
  • Form errors are announced via aria-live regions
